As you are aware, the Upper Southampton Municipal Authority has always tried to operate as efficiently as possible to provide our customers with quality water at the lowest possible price. Recently, we were notified that our wholesale water rates from Bucks County Water & Sewer Authority were being increased effective January 1, 2011. Unfortunately, we must pass through this cost to our customers.
This means that the new rates for our residential customers per quarter will be $29.77 for the first 5,000 gallons. The cost for each additional 1,000 gallons will be $6.13. The Municipal Authority will continue to offer a 5% discount for any residential account that is paid within fifteen days of the billing date as shown on the invoice.
