Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company - Process accounts payable and receivable transactions - Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts - Process payroll - Perform account analysis and assist with year-end audits –
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred - Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role - Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) - Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) - Familiarity with governmental accounting is a plus - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processing - Proficient in 10-key typing
